000 TTAA00 KLAS 102210 FFWLAS AZC015-110015- BULLETIN - EAS ACTIVATION REQUESTED FLASH FLOOD WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE LAS VEGAS NV 307 PM PDT (307 PM MST) SUN AUG 10 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LAS VEGAS HAS ISSUED A FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 515 PM PDT (515 PM MST) FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...... IN NORTHWEST ARIZONA ...EXTREME NORTHERN MOHAVE COUNTY SATELLITE IMAGERY AND DOPPLER RADAR INDICATE STRONG THUNDERSTORMS MOVING INTO EXTREME NORTHERN MOHAVE COUNTY. THESE STORMS ARE LIKELY PRODUCING FLOODING IN LOCAL WASHES AND ARROYOS. SOIL CONDITIONS...ESPECIALLY ALONG THE VIRGIN VALLEY GORGE BETWEEN LITTLEFIELD ARIZONA AND ST GEORGE UTAH ARE QUITE SATURATED ALREADY FROM PREVIOUS STORMS THAT OCCURRED THIS MORNING.
