THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LAS VEGAS HAS ISSUED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM AND FLASH FLOOD WARNING
EFFECTIVE UNTIL  745 PM PST (845 PM MST)
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS......
 
IN NORTHWEST ARIZONA
 
   ...SOUTHERN MOHAVE COUNTY
 
AT 735 PM MST...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 15 MILES NORTHEAST OF LAKE HAVASU MOVING EAST
AT 15 MPH.  A COUPLE REPORTS OF FUNNEL CLOUDS HAVE ALSO BEEN
SEEN WITH THIS THUNDERSTORM.  THIS STORM WAS JUST SOUTHEAST OF
THE INTERSECTION OF HIGHWAY 95 AND INTERSTATE 40 ABOUT 15 MILES
EAST OF TOPOCK.  NO TOWNS ARE CURRENTLY IN ITS PATH BUT IT IS
NEAR INTERSTATE 40 SO TRAVELLERS NEED TO USE CAUTION.
 
THIS STORM IS LIKELY PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAIN AND POSSIBLE FLASH
FLOODING.  IN ADDITION...LARGE HAIL...DAMAGING WIND AND DEADLY
LIGHTNING ARE LIKELY OCCURING WITH THIS STORM.  REMEMBER...
TORNADOES CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO DEVELOP RAPIDLY WITH THESE
KINDS OF STORM.
 
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55
MPH...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
FOR YOUR PROTECTION MOVE TO AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR
OF YOUR HOME OR BUSINESS.  HEAVY RAINS FLOOD ROADS QUICKLY SO
