THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LAS VEGAS HAS ISSUED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM AND FLASH FLOOD WARNING
EFFECTIVE UNTIL  615 PM PST (715 PM MST)
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...S...

AT 515 PM PST...(615 PM MST) NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR
INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM JUST WEST OF NEEDLES. THE STORM
WAS MOVING EAST AT 15 MPH.  THIS STORM WILL LIKELY PRODUCE VERY
HEAVY RAIN...LARGE HAIL...STRONG WINDS AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING.
IN ADDITION...THE VERY HEAVY RAIN MAY CAUSE FLASH FLOODING...
ESPECIALLY IN THE NORMALLY DRY WASHES.
 
THIS SEVERE THUNDERSTORM AND FLASH FLOOD WARNING COVERS THE CITIES
OF NEEDLES AND TOPOCK.  THE STORM WILL MOVE THROUGH THESE CITIES
BETWEEN 520 PM AND 600 PM.  THE STORM WILL ALSO MOVE INTO SOUTHWESTERN
MOHAVE COUNTY IN ARIZONA.
 
THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM.  IF YOU ARE IN ITS PATH YOU SHOULD
PREPARE FOR DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESxS OF 55 MPH...LARGE HAIL...AND
DEADLY LIGHTNING.  PEOPLE OUTSIDE SHOULD MOVE TO A SHELTER...
PREFERABLY INSIDE A STRONG BUILDING BUT STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS.
