COLD FRONT AND ASSOCIATED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE EXITING
SOUTHEAST AZ INTO NEW MEXICO EARLY THIS EVENING. CORE OF COLD POOL
ALOFT ASSOCIATED WITH SHORT WAVE TROUGH CURRENTLY OVER FAR
WEST-CENTRAL AZ BEGINNING TO TURN NORTHEASTWARD PER WATER VAPOR
PICTURES AND MODELS SHOW SAME THING. THEREFORE MAIN THREAT FROM
COLD POOL ALOFT INDUCED SHOWERS WILL BE TO THE NORTH OF OUR AREA BUT
THE MENTION OF ISOLATED EARLY EVENING SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS IN
THE WESTERN ZONES EXCEPT WESTERN PIMA COUNTY STILL WARRENTED DUE TO
LINGERING MOISTURE AND SOME TROUGH DYNAMICS. THE EASTERN ZONES
WILL STILL SEE SCATTERED EARLY EVENING SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
ASSOCIATED WITH THE COLD FRONT THEN TAPPERING OFF WITH CLEARING
AFTER MIDNIGHT. OTHERWISE A COOL NIGHT IN STORE FOR SOUTHEAST AZ IN
THE WAKE OF THE COLD FRONT WITH READINGS IN THE 40S AND 50S. SHORT
WAVE RIDGE BUILDS INTO SOUTHEAST AZ ON WEDNESDAY FOR MOSTLY SUNNY
SKIES...EXCEPT WHITE MOUNTAINS OF NORTHERN GREENLEE COUNTY WHERE
SKIES WILL REMAIN PARTLY CLOUDY DUE TO RESIDUAL MOISTURE...BUT
CONTINUE COOL FOR THIS TIME OF YEAR. TEMPERATURES UP 5-7 DEGREES
THURSDAY AS HEIGHTS AND THICKNESS RISE UNDER BUILDING RIDGE. WINDS
