THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TULSA HAS ISSUED A
TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1115 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA
 
   ...SOUTHEASTERN OSAGE COUNTY
 
AT 1013 PM...RADAR INDICATED A POSSIBLE TORNADO 13 MILES NORTHWEST OF
HOMINY. THE STORM WAS MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 25 MPH. SPOTTERS REPORTED A
TORNADO ON THE GROUND WITH THIS STORM AT 937 PM. THE STORM MAY ALSO
CONTAIN HAIL AS LARGE AS GOLFBALLS AND STRAIGHT LINE WIND GUSTS TO 90
MPH. A TORNADO IN THIS STORM MAY BE WRAPPED IN RAIN AND NOT VISIBLE. IT
IS A VERY DANGEROUS STORM. PERSONS IN HOMINY AND WYNONA STAY IN SAFE
SHELTER UNTIL THIS STORM PASSES.
 
 
THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM SITUATION.  ACT QUICKLY.  IF YOU ARE IN THE
PATH OF THIS TORNADO MOVE TO A SHELTER BELOW GROUND IF AVAILABLE.
OTHERWISE...GO TO A SMALL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR POSSIBLE.
STAY AWAY FROM OUTSIDE WALLS AND AVOID WINDOWS.  ABANDON CARS AND
MOBILE HOMES FOR A REINFORCED BUILDING OR GET IN A GROUND DEPRESSION.
