464 WUUS1 KTUL 080346 RRA SVRTUL OKC117-080430- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TULSA OK 1045 PM CDT WED MAY 7 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TULSA HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1130 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA ...PAWNEE COUNTY AT 1045 PM RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDING FROM 10 MILES WEST OF SKIATOOK TO SKEDEE TO SOONER LAKE. THE LINE OF STORMS WAS MOVING EAST AT 30 MILES AN HOUR. HAIL TO THE SIZE OF DIMES AND WIND GUSTS TO 60 MPH CAN BE EXPECTED IN THE WARNED AREA. A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA. REMEMBER... SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING. REMAIN CALM BUT BE ALERT TO RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS.
