IN SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA ...PITTSBURG COUNTY AT 502 PM...RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM NEAR ARPELAR MOVING NORTHEAST AT 10 MPH. LAKE MCALTESTER IS IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM. HAIL TO THE SIZE OF QUARTERS AND WIND GUSTS TO 60 MPH CAN BE EXPECTED IN THE WARNED AREA. KEEP TUNED TO THIS STATION FOR THE LATEST WEATHER BULLETINS.

FEATURE SHOWED UP WELL ON 1 KM VIS LOOP EARLIER WHEN THERE WERE MORE MID CLDS IN THE AREA. SCT TSRA ARE DVLPING ON SE FLANK OF THIS FEATURE AND ARE DRIFTING NE ALONG WITH IT. NGM WEAKENS THIS DISTURBANCE AS AN UPPER LEVEL JET MOVES DOWN WESTERN PLAINS INTO WRN OK AT 24 HRS. THIS FEATURE THEN SWINGS EASTWARD THRU FA BY 42 HRS. ETA/NGM CONT TO SHOW MOISTURE REMAINING IN MID/LOWER LVLS AND WILL KEEP THREAT OF SHOWERS/THUNDERSTORMS IN FCST INTO MONDAY NIGHT. WILL KEEP HIGHEST POPS IN SRN ZNS...BUT WONT GO MUCH ABV HIGHER GUID POPS. WILL LINGER SLGT CHC POPS INTO MON EVE IN ERN ZNS AND LEAVE TUE DRY WITH TMPS REMAINING ABV NORMAL.
