000 TTAA00 KTUL 220042 RRA SVRTUL OKC113-220130- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TULSA OK 740 PM CDT MON JUL 21 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TULSA HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 830 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA ...SOUTHERN OSAGE COUNTY AT 740 PM...RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 5 MILES SOUTH OF HOMINY. MOVEMENT WAS NORTHEAST AT 10 MPH. THIS STORM WILL PASS NEAR SKIATOOK LAKE. STRONG WINDS HAVE BLOWN DOWN TREES IN THE TOWNS OF CLEVELAND AND OSAGE. WIND GUSTS OF 60 TO 65 MPH WERE REPORTED IN HOMINY FROM THIS STORM. HAIL TO THE SIZE OF NICKELS AND WIND GUSTS TO 65 MPH CAN BE EXPECTED IN THE WARNED AREA. DURING THE STORM MOVE INDOORS AND STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS.
