AT 648 PM...RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 5 MILES EAST OF
CATOOSA. THE STORM WAS DRIFTING SLOWLY WEST.
 
HAIL TO THE SIZE OF QUARTERS AND WIND GUSTS TO 60 MPH CAN BE EXPECTED
IN THE WARNED AREA.
 
DURING THE STORM MOVE INDOORS AND STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS.
TO PROTECT YOURSELF FROM LIGHTNING DO NOT USE THE TELEPHONE

BARTLESVILLE OKLAHOMA TO FORT SMITH ARKANSAS.

THE AIRMASS ACROSS MOST OF THE AREA WILL BECOME VERY UNSTABLE BY
LATE THIS AFTERNOON. WIDELY SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO
DEVELOP IN THE HEAT OF THE AFTERNOON AS TEMPERATURES RISE INTO THE
LOWER AND MID 90S. A WEAK SURFACE BOUNDARY...EXTENDING FROM SOUTH
OF TULSA TO NEAR FORT SMITH EARLY THIS AFTERNOON...MAY HELP FOCUS
THE ACTIVITY.

ANY THUNDERSTORMS THAT DEVELOP WILL HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO PRODUCE
