NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TULSA OK 311 PM CST SUN MAR 2 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TULSA HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 345 PM CST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN NORTHWEST ARKANSAS ...CRAWFORD COUNTY AT 310 PM...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM MOVING ACROSS NORTHERN SEBASTIAN COUNTY JUST SOUTH OF FORT SMITH. THIS STORM WAS MOVING TO THE NORTH NORTHEAST AT 45 MILES AN HOUR...AND WILL PASS CLOSE TO VAN BUREN. < DAMAGING WINDS WITH GUSTS UP TO 65 MPH MAY OCCUR WITH THIS LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS IN ADDITION TO QUARTER SIZE HAIL.
