TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1145 AM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN WEST CENTRAL FLORIDA
 
   ...SOUTHERN PASCO COUNTY...NORTHERN PINELLAS COUNTY
 
AND THE ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS ALONG THE FLORIDA WEST COAST
 
A TORNADO WAS INDICATED BY DOPPLER RADAR JUST WEST OF ANCLOTE KEY
MOVING ONSHORE BETWEEN TARPON SPRINGS AND NEW PORT RICHEY. THE
TORNADO WAS MOVING TO THE EAST 40 TO 50 MPH.
 
IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF A TORNADO MOVE TO A REINFORCED SHELTER
OR A SMALL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR. AVOID WINDOWS.
ABANDON CARS AND MOBILE HOMES FOR A REINFORCED BUILDING OR GET
