000 TTAA00 KTLH 261931 RRA SVRTLH ALC069-GAC099-262000- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TALLAHASSEE FL 330 PM EDT (230 PM CDT) MON MAY 26 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TALLAHASSEE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 400 PM EDT (300 PM CDT) FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN SOUTHEAST ALABAMA ...EASTERN HOUSTON COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST GEORGIA ...SOUTHERN EARLY COUNTY AT 224 CDT DOPPLER WEATHER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM NEAR THE HOUSTON/EARLY COUNTY BORDER. THIS STORM IS MOVING EAST AT 25 MPH AND WILL PASS JUST SOUTH OF CEDAR SPRINGS. THIS STORM WILL LIKELY PRODUCE LARGE HAIL. DAMAGING WIND...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY RAIN...AND DEADLY LIGHTNING ARE ALL POSSIBLE IN A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM. SEEK SHELTER IN A STRONG BUILDING. STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS.
