000 TTAA00 KTLH 230451 RRA SVRTLH FLC059-230530- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TALLAHASSEE FL 1249 AM EDT (1149 PM CDT) WED APR 23 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TALLAHASSEE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 130 AM EDT (1230 AM CDT) FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN NORTHWEST FLORIDA ...HOLMES COUNTY AT 1145 PM CDT...DOPPLER WEATHER RADAR INDICATED A POSSIBLE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM JUST NORTH OF DE FUNIAK SPRINGS. THIS STORM WILL LIKELY PRODUCE DAMAGING WINDS AND LARGE HAIL AS IT MOVES EAST NORTHEAST AT 40 MPH. A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA. REMEMBER... SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN PROD UCE TORNADOES WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING.
