THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SALT LAKE CITY UT HAS ISSUED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 335 AM MDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN NORTHWESTERN UTAH

   ...NORTHERN UTAH COUNTY
 
AT 245 AM MDT...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS INDICATED BY DOPPLER
RADAR AND SPOTTER REPORTS 11 MILES NORTH OF PROVO OR 3 MILES
SOUTHEAST OF ALPINE MOVING EAST AT 20 MPH.

THIS STORM IS EXPECTED TO MOVE EAST INTO THE MOUNTAINS OVER THE
NEXT HALF HOUR THEN WEAKEN.  AT 245 AM A SPOTTER REPORTED PING
PONG BALL SIZE HAIL IN PLEASANT GROVE...ALTHOUGH MOST HAIL WAS
AROUND DIME SIZE.  IN ADDITION TO LARGE HAIL...HEAVY RAIN AND
STRONG WINDS CAN ALSO BE EXPECTED.
