THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SALT LAKE CITY UT HAS ISSUED A
FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 900 PM MDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN SOUTH CENTRAL UTAH

   ...EASTERN KANE COUNTY
 
VERY HEAVY THUNDERSTORM RAINFALL OVER EASTERN KANE COUNTY WILL
RESULT IN FLASH FLOODING IN MANY DRY WASHES AND SMALL STREAMS.
HEAVY RUNOFFS COULD WASHOUT UNIMPROVED ROADS AND MAY RESULT IN
WATER/DEBRIS OVER U.S. 89 IN AND AROUND BIG WATER UTAH.

THE THUNDERSTORM RESPONSIBLE FOR THE HEAVY RAIN WILL MOVE NORTH
THROUGH THE COUNTY AND SHOULD WEAKEN BY 730 PM.  HEAVY RUNOFF FROM
THIS STORM MAY LAST UNTIL 900 PM THIS EVENING.
 
RESIDENTS IN THE WARNED AREA SHOULD USE CAUTION WHILE TRAVELING
TONIGHT...AS SOME SECONDARY ROADS AND LOW-LYING AREAS MAY BE
COVERED BY FLOODWATERS.
