000 TTAA00 KPAH 090750 FFWSGF MOC145-213-091200- BULLETIN - EAS ACTIVATION REQUESTED FLASH FLOOD WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SPRINGFIELD MO ISSUED BY PADUCAH KY 250 AM CDT WED JUL 9 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 700 AM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS... IN SOUTHWEST MISSOURI ...NEWTON COUNTY...TANEY COUNTY AT 250 AM CDT...DOPPLER WEATHER RADAR SHOWS THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING HEAVY RAIN WILL AFFECT THE WARNED AREAS FOR THE NEXT SEVERAL HOURS. EXPECT BETWEEN 2 AND 3 INCHES OF RAIN TO CAUSE FLASH FLOODING. BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS.
