* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR
  CRAWFORD COUNTY - SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS
  CEDAR COUNTY - SOUTHWESTERN MISSOURI
  DADE COUNTY - SOUTHWESTERN MISSOURI
  VERNON COUNTY - WEST CENTRAL MISSOURI

* UNTIL 620 AM CDT
 
* SOME AREAS OR STREAMS AFFECTED
  LOW WATER CROSSINGS ACROSS THE AREA.

* CAUSE AND EFFECT
  HEAVY RAINS ACROSS PORTIONS OF SOUTHWEST MISSOURI HAVE PRODUCED
  IN EXCESS OF FIVE INCHES OF RAIN IN SOME AREAS THIS EVENING.
  THIS HEAVY AREA OF RAIN WILL SLOWLY DRIFT EASTWARD INTO THE
  WARNED AREA AND WILL PRODUCE FLASH FLOODING.

* FORECAST CONDITIONS
  THESE STORMS WILL CONTINUE TO SLOWLY DRIFT EASTWARD BUT WILL
  CONTINUE TO PRODUCE HEAVY RAINFALL ACROSS ALREADY SATURATED
  AREAS WITH AN ADDITIONAL TWO TO THREE INCHES OF RAIN
  POSSIBLE.
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO~ AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED
QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
