THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CHARLESTON HAS ISSUED A
FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1000 PM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION......
 
IN NORTH CENTRAL WEST VIRGINIA
 
   ...SOUTHERN UPSHUR COUNTY
 
DOPPLER RADAR AND IFLOWS GAUGES INDICATE THAT BETWEEN ONE AND A HALF AND
TWO AND A HALF INCHES OF RAIN HAVE FALLEN OVER PORTIONS OF THE WARNED
AREA SINCE 5 PM. RADAR INDICATES THAT MORE SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
WILL PASS OVER THE SAME AREA THROUGH 9 PM WHICH WILL LIKELY PRODUCE
SMALL STREAM FLOODING. THE AREAS MOST AFFECTED WILL BE AROUND ROCK
CAVE...HOLLY GROVE...AND ALEXANDER.
