SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1115 PM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN SOUTH CENTRAL NORTH CAROLINA

A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS INDICATED BY RADAR NEAR BADIN LAKE AND NEAR
MORROW MOUNTAIN. THIS STORM WAS MOVING EAST INTO MONTGOMERY COUNTY AT 30
MILES AN HOUR.
 
DAMAGING WINDS AND DIME SIZED HAIL HAVE ALREADY BEEN REPORTED FROM THIS
STORM AS IT CROSSED NORTHEASTERN STANLY COUNTY AND THE BADIN LAKE AREA.
 
THIS SEVERE THUNDERSTORM IS EXPECTED TO AFFECT MAINLY NORTHERN PORTIONS
OF MONTGOMERY COUNTY INCLUDING THE VICINITY OF TROY AND AREAS NORTH.
 
PEOPLE SHOULD BE ESPECIALLY ALERT FOR LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WIND.
