SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  400 AM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN EAST CENTRAL NORTH CAROLINA

AT 255 AM NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR IN RALEIGH SHOWED A CLUSTER OF
STRONG THUNDERSTORMS IN WESTERN JOHNSTON COUNTY. THE STRONGEST STORM WAS
NEAR THE FOUR OAKS AND COATES AREAS.
 
THESE STORMS WERE MOVING TO THE NORTHEAST ABOUT 25 MPH WILL MOVE ACROSS
CLAYTON BY 315 AM AND ACROSS EASTERN WAKE COUNTY WITHIN THE HALF HOUR
NEAR ZEBULON AND KNIGHTDALE AREAS.
 
DIME SIZE HAIL HAS BEEN REPORTED IN JOHNSTON COUNTY IN THE FOUR OAKS
AREA.
 
PEOPLE SHOULD BE ESPECIALLY ALERT FOR LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WIND.
FREQUENT LIGHTNING AND LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN CAN POSE A DANGER WITH ANY
THUNDERSTORM.  SEEK SHELTER IMMEDIATELY AND REPORT DAMAGE TO
