000 TTAA00 KPHX 280246 RRA SVRPHX CAC065-280330- BULLETIN - EAS ACTIVATION REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PHOENIX AZ 744 PM MST (744 PM PDT) SUN JUL 27 1997 * SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN RIVERSIDE COUNTY IN SOUTHEASTERN CALIFORNIA * UNTIL 830 PM PDT (830 PM MST) * SOME LOCATIONS AFFECTED RIPLEY * AT 744 PM PDT YUMA DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM SOUTHEAST OF RIPLEY. MOVEMENT WAS TO THE NORTHWEST NEAR 20 MPH. DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 57 MPH AND HAIL GREATER THAN A HALF INCH IN DIAMETER ARE LIKELY WITH THIS STORM.
