A LARGE THUNDERSTORM THAT PRODUCED HEAVY RAIN IN PRINEVILLE IS SLOWLY
MOVING NORTHEASTWARD INTO WHEELER COUNTY.  WEATHER SPOTTERS IN THE TOWN
OF PRINEVILLE REPORTED THAT THIS THUNDERSTORM PRODUCED NEAR AN INCH OF
RAINFALL IN 20 MINUTES WITH 4 TO 5 INCHES OF STANDING WATER ALONG
STREETS. BECAUSE THIS THUNDERSTORM HAS REMAINED STATIONARY...HEAVY
RAINFALL IN A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME IS EXPECTED.
 
BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE
THE DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS.  IF FLASH FLOODING IS
OBSERVED...ACT QUICKLY.  TMOVE UP TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS.  DO
NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
