THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PITTSBURGH HAS ISSUED A
FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1100 PM EDT
FOR THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN EAST CENTRAL OHIO
 
   ...COSHOCTON COUNTY.
 
HEAVY RAIN NORTH AND NORTHEAST OF COSHOCTON ARE CAUSING THE MUSKINGUM
RIVER TO RISE AT COSHOCTON. FLOOD STAGE IS 13 FT. AT 4 PM THE READING
WAS 12.8 FEET AND RISING. THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING ALSO PERTAINS TO OTHER
CREEKS AND STREAMS THROUGHOUT THE COUNTY.
 
THE ENTIRE AREA HAS RECEIVED OCCASIONAL HEAVY RAIN SINCE SATURDAY
MORNING. ADDITIONAL RAIN IS LIKELY TONIGHT. A FLOOD WATCH IS ALREADY IN
EFFECT FOR ALL OF EAST CENTRAL OHIO.
 
DO NOT DRIVE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE ROAD.  THE WATER
MAY BE TOO DEEP TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT
IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.  8MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
