FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

AT 3:10 PM...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM IN WINDHAM COUNTY JUST NORTHWEST OF PLAINFIELD.
THIS STORM IS MOVING SOUTH AT 20 MPH...AND WILL MOVE INTO NORTHERN
PORTIONS OF NEW LONDON COUNTY BY 3:20 PM. THIS STORM IS CAPABLE
OF PRODUCING LARGE HAIL...DAMAGING WINDS...VERY HEAVY RAIN...AND
FREQUENT DEADLY LIGHTNING. MOTORISTS SHOULD EXPECT SLOW TRAVEL
ALONG ROUTE 2 AND INTERSTATE 395 IN NORTHERN NEW LONDON COUNTY.
 
WHEN THUNDERSTORMS ARE OCCURRING...PEOPLE SHOULD MOVE INSIDE A
STRONG BUILDING.  DO NOT STAND BY WINDOWS.  DON'T USE TELEPHONES
