SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  500 PM EDT
FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN SOUTH CENTRAL CONNECTICUT
 
   ...NEW HAVEN COUNTY
 
AND THE ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS
 
DOPPLER RADAR AS OF 356 PM SHOWS A DEVELOPING THUNDERSTORM IN NORTHERN
NEW HAVEN COUNTY. THIS STORM IS MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 25 MPH AND CAN
PRODUCE WIND GUSTS IN EXCESS UP TO 60 MPH ALONG WITH CLOUD TO GROUND
LIGHTNING AND HAIL.
 
WHEN THUNDERSTORMS ARE OCCURRING...PEOPLE SHOULD MOVE INSIDE A
STRONG &BUILDING.  DO NOT STAND BY WINDOWS.  DON'T USE TELEPHONES
