SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 630 PM EDT
FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN SOUTHEAST NEW YORK
 
   ...EASTERN SUFFOLK COUNTY
 
AND THE ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS
 
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE WESTERN HALF OF THE COUNTY WILL BE MOVING
INTO THE EASTERN HALF OF THE COUNTY SHORTLY. THE STORMS WILL BE IN THE
SHIRLEY/MORICHES REGION BY 5:20 PM...THE RIVERHEAD AREA BY 5:30 PM
AND INTO THE SOUTHAMPTON AREA BY 5:50 PM.
 
THESE STORMS HAVE A HISTORY OF 60 MPH WIND...1 INCH DIAMETER HAIL...AND
HAVE CAUSED DAMAGE IN NASSAU AND WESTERN SUFFOLK.
