FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1145 AM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
 
IN MIDDLE TENNESSEE
 
   ...CHEATHAM COUNTY...DICKSON COUNTY...MONTGOMERY COUNTY
 
A CLUSTER OF SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORMS HAS DUMPED CLOSE TO 2 INCHES OF
RAIN ACROSS PARTS OF MONTGOMERY...DICKSON AND CHEATHAM COUNTIES SINCE 7
AM. THE MONTGOMERY COUNTY SHERIFF OFFICE REPORTED HIGH WATER ON SEVERAL
ROADS ACROSS THE COUNTY WITH HIGH WATER THREATENING A RESIDENCE. AN
ADDITIONAL HALF INCH OF RAIN IS POSSIBLE AROUND CLARKSVILLE BETWEEN NOW
AND 1030 AM WHILE AN ADDITIONAL 1 TO 1.5 INCHES OF RAIN IS LIKELY
TO OCCUR AROUND DICKSON...WHITE BLUFF AND ASHLAND CITY BETWEEN NOW
AND 11 AM.
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
:ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
