000 TTAA00 KMOB 230324 RRA SVRMOB ALC039-230430- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MOBILE AL 1024 PM CDT TUE APR 22 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MOBILE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1130 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN SOUTH ALABAMA ...COVINGTON COUNTY AT 1024 PM CDT MOBILE DOPPLER WEATHER RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS MOVING INTO THE WESTERN PART OF COVINGTON COUNTY AT 45 MPH. DAMAGING WIND AND LARGE HAIL CAN BE EXPECTED WITH THESE STORMS. A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA. REMEMBER SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING. REMAIN CALM BUT BE ALERT TO RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS.
