SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1045 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...
 
IN SOUTHWEST ALABAMA

AT 935 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDING FROM SOUTHERN MONROE COUNTY SOUTHWEST
INTO NORTHERN BALDWIN COUNTY. AS THE STORMS MOVE TO THE NORTHEAST AT 40
MPH...THEY WILL AFFECT PEOPLE IN THE ATMORE AND HUXFORD AREAS BY 945 PM
AND BREWTON BY 10 PM. THE MAIN THREATS FROM THESE STORMS ARE LARGE HAIL
AND DAMAGING STRAIGHT LINE WINDS.
 
A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA.  REMEMBER
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES
WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING.  REMAIN CALM BUT BE ALERT TO
RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS.
