THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MOBILE AL HAS EXTENDED THE
FLOOD WARNING UNTIL 300 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...

IN SOUTHWESTERN ALABAMA

   ...BALDWIN
   ...MOBILE

IN MOBILE COUNTY...THE FLOOD WARNING WILL CONTINUE IN EFFECT DUE TO HIGH
WATER REMAINING ON LOWLYING ROADWAYS AND IN OTHER FLOODPRONE AREAS.
ADDITIONAL RAINFALL SINCE MIDNIGHT HAS NOT BEEN SIGNIFICANT...
GENERALLY LESS THAN ONE-HALF INCH OVER THE FLOODED AREAS...BUT WATER
WILL BE SLOW TO DRAIN.  AS A RESULT...PEOPLE...ESPECIALLY MOTORISTS...
SHOULD NOT VENTURE INTO WATER COVERED LOW LYING AREAS.
THE MOST SERIOUSLY FLOODED AREAS CONTINUE TO BE IN THE SOUTHERN
PART OF MOBILE COUNTY...GENERALLY SOUTH OF HIGHWAY 90 AND EAST OF
BELLINGRATH ROAD.

IN BALDWIN COUNTY...AN ADDITIONAL 4 TO 8 INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN
SINCE MIDNIGHT...AGGRAVATING THE FLOOD PROBLEMS OVER THE WESTERN
HALF OF THE COUNTY...GENERALLY WEST OF HIGHWAY 59.  PEOPLE IN THIS
PART OF THE COUNTY SHOULD STAY AWAY FROM FLOODED ROADWAYS AND OTHER
LOW LYING AREAS.

RAIN ASSOCIATED WITH DANNY CONTINUES T~O FALL OVER MUCH OF MOBILE
AND BALDWIN COUNTIES...WITH THE HEAVIEST RAIN OCCURRING OVER THE
DELTA AREA.  ADDITIONAL RAINFALL ACCUMULATIONS OF 2 TO 4 INCHES
ARE LIKELY OVER THIS AREA DURING THE NEXT FEW HOURS.
