THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MOBILE AL HAS ISSUED A
FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 900 AM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...

IN SOUTHWESTERN ALABAMA

   ...BALDWIN
   ...MOBILE
 
A FLOOD WARNING HAS BEEN REISSUED FOR THE SOUTH PARTS OF MOBILE AND
BALDWIN COUNTIES NOT FOR ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAINS BUT FOR STANDING
WATER REMAINING IN MANY STREETS AND SOME HOMES.

IN MOBILE COUNTY...NOT MUCH ADDITIONAL RAINFALL HAS OCCURRED
SINCE MIDNIGHT BUT STANDING WATER CONTINUES IN MANY STREETS AND
HOMES GENERALLY SOUTH OF US 90 WHERE MORE THAN TWENTY-FIVE INCHES
OF RAINFALL FELL ON SATURDAY.  MANY OF THE STREETS WILL BE SLOW TO
DRAIN TODAY AS DANNY MOVES SLOWLY EAST-NORHTEAST AWAY FROM THE AREA.

IN BALDWIN COUNTY...BETWEEN A HALF AND ONE INCH OF RAIN HAS FALLEN
IN THE SOUTHERN PARTS OF THE COUNTY SINCE MIDNIGHT.  THIS IS IN
ADDITION TO AROUND TEN INCHES OF RAINFALL ON SATURDAY. BECAUSE OF
THE HEAVY RAINFALL MANY ROADS REMAIN CLOSED OR WASHED OUT GENERALLY
SOUTH OF COUNTY ROAD 32. STANDING WATER WILL CONTINUE OVER MANY OF
THE ROADS INTO THE MODRNING HOURS. EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT REPORTS THAT
SOME EVACUATIONS OF HOMES WERE TAKING PLACE ON RIVER ROAD ALONG THE
FISH RIVER NEAR MARLOW.

MOTORIST SHOULD AVOID THESE AREAS.
