SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL  830 PM EDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION......
 
IN SOUTHEAST FLORIDA
 
   ...DADE COUNTY
 
AND THE ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS
 
 
THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR NORTHWEST PORTIONS OF
METRO DADE COUNTY IS EXTENDED THROUGH 830 PM TO INCLUDE
ALL OF WESTERN...CENTRAL...AND SOUTH PARTS OF METRO DADE COUNTY.
 
THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM BEARING DAMAGING WINDS AND POSSIBLE HAIL
WILL SPREAD SOUTH OF TAMIAMI TRAIL INTO PARTS OF KENDALL...
WESTCHESTER...AND WEST MIAMI...AND TOWARD PERRINE. STRONG
WINDS WILL ALSO PUSH OVER BISCAYNE BAY.
 
AREAS BETWEEN THE PALMETTO WEST TO THE TURNPIKE AND
KROME AVENUE WILL BE AFFECTED. THIS STORM HAS PRODUCED
WINDS CLOCKED AT 55 TO 60 MPH AT 825 PM AT THE NATIONAL WEATHER
SERVICE OFFICE AT THE TURNPIKE AND TAMIAMI TRAIL.
 
 
DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY RAIN...
AND DEADLY LIGHTNING ARE ALL POSSIBLE IN A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM. SEEK
SHELTER IN A STRONG BUILDING. STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS. DO NOT USE
