000 TTAA00 KMIA 021356 RRA SVRMIA FLC043-021500- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MIAMI FL 852 AM EST SUN NOV 2 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MIAMI HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1000 AM EST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...... IN SOUTH FLORIDA ...WESTERN GLADES COUNTY AT 850 AM EST DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A POSSIBLE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM ENTERING WESTERN GLADES COUNTY ABOUT 15 MILES WEST OF PALMDALE. THIS THUNDERSTORM IS PART OF A SOLID LINE OF HEAVY THUNDERSTORMS FROM ST LUCIE COUNTY ACROSS NORTHERN LAKE OKEECHOBEE TO SOUTH OF FORT MYERS. THE LINE WAS MOVING SOUTH AT 10 TO 15 MPH WHILE THE INDIVIDUAL THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING EAST NORTHEAST AT 40 MPH. DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY RAIN...
