000 TTAA00 KMIA 061919 RRA SVRMIA FLC011-062015- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MIAMI FL 315 PM EDT WED AUG 6 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MIAMI HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 430 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...... IN SOUTHEAST FLORIDA ...BROWARD COUNTY AND THE ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATES THUNDERSTORMS WHICH MAY BECOME SEVERE BETWEEN 315 AND 430 PM OVER PORTIONS OF METROPOLITAN BROWARD COUNTY EXTENDING FROM THE SUNRISE PLANTATION AREA EAST TO WILTON MANORS AND FT. LAUDERDALE AND ADJACENT ATANTIC WATERS. ACTIVITY WILL BE SPREADING EAST AND SOUTH OVER SOUTH PARTS OF BROWARD. DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY RAIN... AND DEADLY LIGHTNING ARE ALL POSSIBLE IN A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM. SEEK SHELTER IN A STRONG BUILDING. STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS. DO NOT USE TELEPHONES OR nELECTRICAL APPLIANCES.
