000 TTAA00 KMIA 191819 RRA SVRMIA FLC025-191900- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MIAMI FL 218 PM EDT SAT JUL 19 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MIAMI HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 300 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...... IN SOUTHEAST FLORIDA ...EASTERN DADE COUNTY AND THE ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS AT 215 PM...MIAMI DOPPLER RADAR DETECTED SEVERE THUNDRESTORMS OVER EASTERN DADE COUNTY. THE THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT AREAS FROM CORAL GABLES TO NEAR MIAMI INERNATIONAL AIRPORT NORTHWARD TO OPA LOCKA. THE STORM IS MOVING NORTHEAST AT 10 TO 15 MPH. DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY RAIN... AND DEADLY LIGHTNING ARE ALL POSSIBLE IN A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM. SEEK SHELTER IN A STRONG BUILDING. STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS.
