SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING AND SPECIAL MARINE WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL
600 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION......
 
IN SOUTH FLORIDA
 
   ...SOUTHEAST GLADES COUNTY AND LAKE OKEECHOBEE
 
AT 500 PM...MIAMI DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM MOVING
INTO SOUTHEASTERN GLADES COUNTY. THIS STORM WILL MOVE FROM THE SOUTH
SOUTHWEST AT 10 MPH AND BE IN THE VICINITY OF MOORE HAVEN BY 515 PM.
THIS STORMS WILL EFFECT THE WESTERN PART OF LAKE OKEECHOBEE AS IT MOVES
NORTHWARD NEAR AND ALONG US 27.
 
DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...LARGE HAIL...VERY HEAVY RAIN...
AND DEADLY LIGHTNING ARE ALL POSSIBLE IN A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM. SEEK
SHELTER IN A STRONG BUILDING. STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS. DO NOT USE
TELEPHONES OR ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES.
