000 TTAA00 KMEM 282326 RRA SVRMEM TNC075-010015- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MEMPHIS TN 526 PM CST FRI FEB 28 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MEMPHIS TN HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 615 PM CST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN WESTERN TENNESSEE ...HAYWOOD COUNTY AT 523 PM...DOPPLER RADAR SHOWED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM JUST NORTHEAST OF OAKLAND. THE STORM WAS MOVING NORTHEAST AT 50 MPH AND WILL PRODUCE LARGE HAIL AS IT MOVES ACROSS STANTON...DANCYVILLE AND BROWNSVILLE. HAIL LARGER THAN GOLFBALLS IS LIKELY WITH THIS STORM AS IT CROSSES INTERSTATE 40. .THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM. IF YOU ARE IN ITS PATH YOU SHOULD PREPARE FOR DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...LARGE HAIL...AND DEADLY LIGHTNING.
