THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MEMPHIS TN HAS ISSUED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1150 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN WESTERN TENNESSEE

   ...HARDIN COUNTY
 
AT 1116 PM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A LINE SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS
WITH LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS ALONG NORTHERN HARDIN COUNTY JUST
NORTH OF SALTILLO. THESE STORMS ARE MOVING SOUTH AT 30 MILES AN HOUR
AND WILL MOVE THROUGH SAVANNAH BY 1135 PM AND TOWARDS PICKWICK DAM
BY 1150 PM.

THESE STORMS HAVE A HISTORY OF PRODUCING WIND DAMAGE WITH DOWNED
TREES AND POWER LINES IN DECATUR COUNTY.

.SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...
DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN. FOR YOUR
PROTECTION...MOVE TO AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR OF YOUR
HOME OR BUSINESS.  HEAVY RAINS FLOOD ROADS QUICKLY SO DO NOT DRIVE
INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROAD.
