SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 735 PM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...

IN NORTHWESTERN MISSISSIPPI

   ...LAFAYETTE COUNTY
 
AT 700 PM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WITH
LARGE HAIL ALONG THE PANOLA-LAFAYETTE COUNTY LINE JUST SOUTH OF
SARDIS LAKE. THE STORM WAS MOVING EAST-SOUTHEAST AT 25 MPH AND WILL
MOVE ALONG HIGHWAY 6 AND SHOULD PASS WEST OF OXFORD.

ANOTHER RAPIDLY INTENSIFYING STORM WAS IN SOUTHEAST LAFAYETTE COUNTY
SOUTHEAST OF TULA.

.SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH...
DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN. FOR YOUR
PROTECTION...MOVE TO AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR OF YOUR
HOME OR BUSINESS.  HEAVY RAINS FLOOD ROADS .QUICKLY SO DO NOT DRIVE
