000 TTAA00 KMEM 270240 SVRMEM TNC071-270325- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MEMPHIS TN 939 PM CDT MON MAY 26 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MEMPHIS TN HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1025 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN WESTERN TENNESSEE ...HARDIN COUNTY AT 936 PM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WITH LARGE HAIL ALONG THE MCNAIRY HARDIN COUNTY LINE WEST OF SAVANNAH. THIS STORM IS MOVING SOUTHEAST 30 MPH AND WILL PASS BETWEEN SAVANNAH AND SHILOH BY 950 PM AND WALNUT GROVE BY 1015 PM. .A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA. REMEMBER...SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND> OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE TORNADOES WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING. REMAIN CALM BUT BE ALERT TO RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS.
