FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1215 AM CST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION...

IN WESTERN TENNESSEE

   ...FAYETTE COUNTY
   ...HAYWOOD COUNTY
   ...NORTHERN SHELBY COUNTY
   ...TIPTON COUNTY
 
AT 910 PM CST...THUNDERSTORMS WERE PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAINFALL
ACROSS PARTS OF SOUTHWEST TENNESSEE. RAINFALL ESTIMATES OF UP TO TWO
INCHES AN HOUR ARE INDICATED.

LOW LYING AREAS AND SOME ROADS HAVE BECOME COVERED WITH WATER FROM
THE HEAVY RAINFALL. NEARLY TWO FEET OF WATER HAS BEEN REPORTED
COVERING THE INTERSECTION OF AUSTIN PEAY HIGHWAY AND COLEMAN ROAD IN
RALEIGH SHELBY COUNTY.

.BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLASH FLOODING. IF FLOODING IS OBSERVED...ACT QUICKLY.
