A WEAK COLD FRONT WAS APPROACHING ARKANSAS FROM SOUTHERN MISSOURI THIS
AFTERNOON. AHEAD OF THE FRONT...THE ATMOSPHERE WAS VERY WARM...MOIST
AND UNSTABLE. SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS HAVE DEVELOPED THIS AFTERNOON
IN NORTHERN AND CENTRAL SECTIONS OF THE STATE...WITH SOME STORMS
BECOMING SEVERE.

A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH HAS BEEN POSTED FOR NORTHERN AND CENTRAL
ARKANSAS UNTIL 11 PM. THE WATCH INCLUDES AREAS NORTH OF MENA...HOT
SPRINGS AND PINE BLUFF. STORMS THAT BECOME SEVERE IN THE WATCH AREA
