THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LITTLE ROCK AR HAS ISSUED A
FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1245 AM CST
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...

IN SOUTHEASTERN ARKANSAS

   ...ARKANSAS COUNTY
   ...JEFFERSON COUNTY

IN CENTRAL ARKANSAS

   ...SOUTHERN GRANT COUNTY
 
AT 940 PM CST...DOPPLER WEATHER RADAR INDICATED A BAND OF SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS CONTAINING HEAVY RAIN FROM LEOLA TO WHITE HALL TO JUST
SOUTHEAST OF STUTTGART.

THIS BAND HAS BEEN MOVING VERY LITTLE AND WILL LIKELY CONTINUE TO
PRODUCE HEAVY RAINFALL.

RADAR INDICATES THAT 1 TO 1 1/2 INCHES OF RAIN FELL IN SOME SPOTS
BETWEEN 830 AND 930 PM.

SOME FLOODING OF ROADS HAS ALREADY BEEN REPORTED IN JEFFERSON COUNTY.
WITH THE RAIN EXPECTED TO CONTINUE...THE FLOODING IS LIKELY TO WORSEN.
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY.  THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED
QUICKLY.  MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
