IN THE TEXAS PANHANDLE ...NORTHERN CHILDRESS COUNTY AT 1012 PM CDT...A TORNADO WAS REPORTED BY THE COLLINGSWORTH COUNTY SHERIFF 5 MILES SOUTH OF WELLINGTON OR 23 MILES NORTH OF CHILDRESS. THE TORNADO WAS ABOUT 1 MILE NORTH OF THE CHILDRESS COUNTY LINE MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 5 MPH. THE TORNADO IS EXPECTED TO REMAIN OVER RURAL AREAS.
