IN THE TEXAS PANHANDLE ...CHILDRESS COUNTY AT 838 PM CDT...A POSSIBLE TORNADO WAS INDICATED BY LUBBOCK DOPPLER RADAR AND SPOTTER REPORTS 31 MILES NORTH NORTHWEST OF CHILDRESS OR 6 MILES WEST OF WELLINGTON. THE TORNADO IS EXPECTED MOVE INTO THE RURAL AREAS OF NORTHERN CHILDRESS COUNTY AROUND 900 PM CDT. IF YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF A TORNADO...THE SAFEST PLACE IS A BASEMENT.
