IN NORTHWESTERN TEXAS ...GARZA COUNTY ...EASTERN LYNN COUNTY THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL WERE MOVING NORTH AT 20 MPH INTO LYNN AND GARZA COUNTIES AT 610 PM CDT. AS THESE STORMS MOVE ACROSS EASTERN LYNN AND GARZA COUNTIES...WHERE UP TO 4 INCHES OF RAIN HAD ALREADY FALLEN TODAY...FLASH FLOODING IS LIKELY. DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY. THE WATEzR DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS SAFELY. SINCE 2 PM CDT...A FEW REPORTS OF FUNNEL CLOUDS HAVE BEEN RECEIVED FROM THE PUBLIC. ONE OF THE FUNNEL CLOUDS MAY HAVE BRIEFLY TOUCHED DOWN EAST OF CROSBYTON...BUT NO DAMAGE HAS BEEN REPORTED. OTHER FUNNEL CLOUDS MAY FORM THROUGH THE EARLY EVENING HOURS...BUT NONE THE FUNNELS ARE EXPECTED TO TOUCH DOWN.
