THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LUBBOCK TX HAS ISSUED A
FLASH FLOOD WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 150 AM CDT
FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...

IN NORTHWESTERN TEXAS

   ...EASTERN BAILEY COUNTY
   ...WESTERN LAMB COUNTY
 
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATES THAT 2-3 INCHES
OF RAIN HAS FALLEN OVER THE COUNTIES OF EASTERN BAILEY AND
WESTERN LAMB THIS EVENING.  WATER IS ALREADY OVER THE HIGHWAY
BETWEEN THE COMMUNITIES OF MULESHOE AND EARTH ON US 70. ALSO FM
ROAD 303 HAS WATER COVERING THE ROAD. AN ADDITIONAL 1 TO 1 1/2
INCHES OF RAIN IS POSSIBLE BEFORE THESE THUNDERSTORMS DISSIPATE.
THEREFORE FLOODING IS POSSIBLE FOR THE NEXT FEW HOURS.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS. IF FLOODING IS OBSERVED...ACT
QUICKLY. MOVE UP TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS. DO NOT STAY IN AREAS
SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
