000 TTAA00 KSDF 010058 RRA SVRSDF INC037-010130- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE LOUISVILLE KY 858 PM EDT (758 PM EST) WED APR 30 1997 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LOUISVILLE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 930 PM EDT (830 PM EST) FOR PERSONS IN THE FOLLOWING LOCATION... IN SOUTH INDIANA ...DUBOIS COUNTY AT 8:55 PM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 60 MILES WEST OF LOUISVILLE...NEAR THE WARRICK/DUBOIS COUNTY LINE. THE STORM WAS MOVING EAST AT 40-50 MPH. IT WILL REACH THE TOWNS OF ST. HENRY AND BRETZVILLE BY 9:10 PM EDT...AND BIRDSEYE BY 9:20 PM EDT. A TORNADO WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA.
