  JEFFERSON COUNTY - NORTH CENTRAL KENTUCKY

* UNTIL 630 PM EDT
 
* SOME LOCATIONS AFFECTED
  FERN CREESK BY 6PM EDT.
  JEFFERSONTOWN BY 6PM EDT.

* AT 520 PM EDT WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE
THUNDERSTORM 5 MILES SOUTHEAAST OF DOWNTOWN LOUISVILLE.  THE STORM
WAS DRIFTING TO THE SOUTH AT 5 MILES AN HOUR.  LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN IN
EXCESS OF 2 INCHES IS EXPECTED WITH THIS STORM.  IN ADDITION LARGE
HAIL AND GUSTY WINDS ARE POSSIBLE.

THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM. SEEK SHELTER IMMEDIATELY IN A REINFORCED
BUILDING AND STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS AND OFF THE TELEPHONE. AVOID
DOWNED POWER LINES.
