AT 6:55 PM EST...DOPPLER WEATHER RADAR WAS INDICATING A SEVERE
THUNDERSTORM 5 MILES WEST OF GREENSBURG...50 MILES NORTHWEST OF
SOMERSET. ALSO...NEAR THE INTERSECTION OF GREEN AND METCALFE
COUNTIES...A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL ALSO PUSH INTO GREEN
COUNTY THROUGH 7:30 PM EST. LARGE HAIL OF 3/4 INCH IS EXPECTED WITH THE
STORMS. ALL STORMS WERE MOVING NORTHEAST AT 35 MPH.
 
WHEN THUNDERSTORMS OCCUR...MOVE INSIDE A STRONG BUILDING.  GO TO
THE INTERIOR SECTION...OR PREFERABLY A BASEMENT OR LOWEST LEVEL
IF POSSIBLE.  DO NOT STAND NEAR WINDOWS. DO NOT USE TELEPHONES
OR ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES UNTIL THE STORM HAS PASSED. STAY AWAY FROM
